Acrux Gold is the parent company of SGZ Cononish Limited, Scotland’s only commercial gold and silver mine. We exist to make mining better: more efficient, more responsible, and more human. Our name comes from “Alpha Crux,” the guiding star – fitting for a company that aims to lead by example.
We drive sustainable value by incorporating people, capital, technology, and a strong culture. This is what makes us unique.
To help mining operations thrive – by extracting more value with less waste, applying technology with care, and growing teams who lead with integrity and purpose.
We understand that each person brings unique perspectives and strengths. We value these differences and strive to create an inclusive workplace where all contributions are respected, and everyone brings their best self to work.
We succeed together. Collaboration, mutual accountability, and shared ownership are essential to delivering results and maintaining operational discipline.
We are courageous with the truth. We act with transparency and competence, ensuring our work meets the highest standards.
We create space for dialogue, feedback, and ideas. Listening strengthens trust, uncovers problems early, and drives innovation and performance.
We set ambitious goals and relentlessly pursue them. Excellence means doing things well, doing them safely, and doing them sustainably.
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We foster pride, celebrate wins, and create a workplace where people can thrive.
We operate on principle, not just protocol. Our values are embedded in everything—from shift handovers to board decisions. This culture is our greatest strength. It creates a disciplined, high-performing, respectful workplace.
We measure our success by how well we run, not just what we extract. Precision, consistency, and quality are the backbone of everything we do.
From underground operations to boardroom decisions, we follow one rule: do the right thing— every time. Our structure is flat, empowered,
